Waitstaff (servers) are responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences by greeting guests, taking accurate food/drink orders, delivering items promptly, and processing payments. They must possess strong communication skills, work efficiently in fast-paced environments, and maintain cleanliness, ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure. Core Responsibilities Customer Service: Greet guests, present menus, explain daily specials, and provide detailed information regarding ingredients or potential allergens. Order Taking & Delivery: Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen/bar via POS systems, and deliver orders in a timely manner. Table Maintenance: Clear, clean, and reset tables between guests, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Sales & Service: Make menu recommendations, upsell items, and serve alcohol responsibly. Payments: Present checks, handle cash/card transactions, and process payments accurately. Collaboration: Work with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct and served promptly. Work hours may vary, there are day and evening shifts available, ability to work Saturday Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Proven experience as a server or in a similar role in the food service industry. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and team members. Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods, walk quickly, and lift trays of food or heavy objects (up to 40 lbs). Multitasking: Capability to manage multiple tables simultaneously under high-pressure conditions. Technical Skills: Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems.
