Job DescriptionPosition Title: EIP Teacher Department: SchoolEvaluation Instrument: TKESPay Grade: Teacher Pay ScalePay Type: Salaried - ExemptRetirement: TRSContract Work Year: 190 Days, 8 Hours Per DayReports to: School Principal and Any Other Assigned AdministratorMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Education or related fieldValid teaching certification (Elementary or content-specific)Knowledge of intervention strategies in reading and/or mathFamiliarity with data-driven instruction and progress monitoring toolsStrong communication and collaboration skillsGOAL Contribute to the successful achievement of the Dodge County School District mission and major system priorities by supporting the effective organization and operations of the school environment to optimize student learning, instructional programs and related activities.REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Position Summary:The EIP Teacher provides targeted instruction to students who are at risk of not meeting academic standards in reading, mathematics, or other core subjects. This role focuses on early identification, intervention, and progress monitoring to help students achieve grade-level expectations. Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with at-risk or struggling learnersTraining in intervention programs (e.g., reading or math remediation)Experience with RTI/MTSS frameworksPerformance Expectations:Demonstrate measurable student growthMaintain compliance with district and state EIP guidelinesContribute positively to the school's academic improvement goalsKey Responsibilities:Provide small group or individualized instruction based on student needsUse assessment data to identify students eligible for EIP servicesDevelop and implement intervention plans aligned with state standardsMonitor and document student progress regularlyCollaborate with classroom teachers to support differentiated instructionMaintain accurate records for compliance and reporting purposesCommunicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategiesParticipate in RTI (Response to Intervention) or MTSS meetingsUtilize research-based instructional strategies and interventionsAssist in preparing students for state assessments and benchmarks IMPORTANT NOTES ESSENTIAL DUTIES Job descriptions are designed and intended only to summarize the essential duties, responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements for the purpose of clarifying the general nature and scope of a position's role as part of the overall organization.
