WHAT YOU WILL DO Obtain copy of production schedule/shipping order and transport material to and from designated areas in the facility Load and unload goods Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility Stack goods in the correct storage bays while following inventory control instructions Check that loads are secure Stack empty pallets Perform daily equipment checks and maintain equipment Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards Dump materials into machine hoppers May be required to use RF scanner gun Some order pulling QUALIFICATIONS Forklift certification per OSHA standards Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others Must be able to follow instructions Must be able to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner PHYSICAL DEMANDS Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time Often work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
