Adecco has partnered with an industrial entertainment solutions manufacturer and is building a pipeline of skilled welders for PRN, project-based assignments . This opportunity is ideal for experienced welders seeking flexible, as-needed work rather than a steady long-term role. With potential to transition into longer-term employment as project volume and performance allow. This is a combo welder position , with welding methods and materials varying by project. Typical work includes aluminum and steel in a fast-paced, custom fabrication environment. Important: This is a temporary, PRN role . Work schedules and duration will vary based on project needs. There is no guaranteed steady schedule, but strong performers may be considered for extended or long-term opportunities. Primary Responsibilities + Perform various types of welding, brazing, and cutting on a wide range of metals using appropriate welding equipment. + Read and follow instructions, prints, and work orders specific to each project. + Perform gas welding in all positions (down-hand, vertical, overhand, etc.). + Execute welds of various types and sizes, including V-groove, lap, butt , and others; preheat materials when required. + Clean, grind, and flame-anneal parts and welded joints as needed. + Use burning and cutting equipment to dismantle assemblies and cut materials to required size and shape. + Safely handle and transport materials and equipment to and from work areas. + Apply working knowledge of: + Welding properties of different metals + Welding rods and welding heats + Stress relief techniques + Fit-up and machining allowances + Effects of shrinkage, warpage, and expansion + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area . + Communicate effectively with supervisors, project leads, and team members. + Demonstrate self-motivation, teamwork, and a results-driven mindset in a project-based environment. Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. + Proven, hands-on experience with: + GMAW (MIG) + GTAW (TIG) + FCAW + Comfortable working in a demanding, multi-tasking, project-driven environment . + Strong fine and gross motor skills to safely perform welding tasks. + Ability to lift up to 40 pounds . + Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb as required for the job.
