Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Mamaroneck, New York. In this long-term contract to hire role, you will play a pivotal part in managing accounts payable processes across multiple entities while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, possesses excellent organizational skills, and is comfortable handling administrative support tasks as needed. Responsibilities: u2022 Accurately code, enter, and process invoices for vendors and installers across multiple entities. u2022 Manage payments for utilities, taxes, and miscellaneous expenses while tracking rental income and cash flow. u2022 Track and reconcile manufacturer back charges, ensuring all credits are accounted for. u2022 Maintain and update vendor records in the Sage Accounting System. u2022 Respond promptly and professionally to vendor inquiries. u2022 Collaborate with the construction department to coordinate weekly installer payouts and manage labor hours for 1099 employees. u2022 Ensure insurance certificates for installers are up-to-date and properly maintained. u2022 Set up and manage Auto Pay systems and process related payments. u2022 Reconcile, code, and enter company credit card charges in Sage. u2022 Handle petty cash accounts, reconciling and maintaining records as required. Requirements u2022 Proven experience with Sage/Timberline Accounting Software is required. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects accurately while meeting deadlines. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Self-motivated with excellent follow-through and accountability. u2022 Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. u2022 Effective prioritization skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
