Job Description

Hiring Electrical Engineers for Data Center Projects Responsibilities + Conduct engineering calculations and energy analysis. + Manage time and budget to meet project deliverables. + Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for completing drawings. + Calculate power and lighting loads for building systems. + Review and perform code analyses based on local and national codes. + Design life safety (fire alarm) systems. + Select and design layout of electrical equipment. Essential Skills + Degree in Electrical Engineering. + 2+ years of experience in electrical design for building systems. + Proficiency in Revit for 3D environments. + Experience in load calculation. + Experience managing small to medium-sized projects. + Proficiency in Navisworks and data center projects. + E.I.T or PE certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Data Center/Commercial project experience. + LEED accreditation and Green Building initiatives preferred. + Mission Critical experience is preferred. + Commissioning experience is a plus. Work Environment + The role requires working in the office four days a week with the option to work remotely on Fridays. + The team consists of 2 architects, 6 engineers, principals, and admin staff, totaling about 15-20 members. + This position offers an opportunity to work on complex projects across the US, with the potential for a partnership track. + You will enjoy unlimited PTO and, post-conversion, health, dental, vision, and a 3% 401k matc Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
