Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Miramar, Florida. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Your expertise will contribute to key accounting processes, including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger management. THIS IS A FULLY IN OFFICE ROLE IN MIRAMAR. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage month-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting. u2022 Maintain and update the general ledger by recording financial transactions and ensuring data integrity. u2022 Prepare and post journal entries to document accounting activities. u2022 Reconcile accounts and bank statements, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly. u2022 Analyze financial data to assist in preparing reports for management and stakeholders. u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on accounting procedures and policies. u2022 Review and monitor transactions for compliance with established accounting standards. u2022 Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. u2022 Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement improvements.
