Hiring a Parts Handler in Waynesboro, PA Job Description The Parts Handler supports the clean and tag area of the shop by preparing parts for painting and shipping, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring that all parts move efficiently through the production process. This role involves hands-on work with parts cleaning, packaging, masking, and material handling in a production and manufacturing environment. This is a long-term permanent position 1st shift Pay Rate: $17/hour to start Benefits- medical, dental, vision and 401k plan Responsibilities + Clean parts thoroughly to meet production and quality standards. + Package parts securely for shipping to prevent damage in transit. + Mask parts accurately in preparation for painting according to specifications. + Stock and organize inventory to maintain an efficient workflow. + Hang and unhang parts safely and correctly as part of the production process. + Perform general labor tasks in the clean and tag area as needed to support overall shop operations. + Handle materials and parts with care to maintain cleanliness and product integrity. + Follow established production procedures and shop guidelines to ensure consistent output. Essential Skills + Experience with production, manufacturing, or general labor in a shop or industrial environment. + Ability to perform repetitive cleaning and washing tasks with attention to detail. + Basic material handling skills for moving, hanging, and un-hanging parts safely.
