Facilities Maintenance Technician Join our dynamic team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, working the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 4:30 PM. In this role, you will execute various maintenance tasks ensuring our plant operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities + Perform knock-out tasks, including final touches on plant installations, equipment setup, and workspace improvements to ensure operational readiness. + Complete carpentry projects such as building and repairing structures, cabinets, and shelving; installing partitions, drywall, and trim work as needed. + Execute painting and surface preparation tasks, including patching, priming, and finishing of plant walls, floors, and equipment to maintain a clean and professional appearance. + Perform routine maintenance and repairs across the plant, including plumbing, minor electrical fixes, and general upkeep to ensure a safe and functional environment. + Assist with maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the plant, including groundskeeping, minor plumbing tasks, and other duties as assigned. + Ensure proper maintenance, storage, and use of tools and materials required for all maintenance and repair tasks. + Adhere to all plant safety protocols and regulations, ensuring that work is completed safely and efficiently. Essential Skills + Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. + Strong carpentry skills with the ability to handle a wide range of repairs and construction tasks. + Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance work. + Proficient in the use of hand and power tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to completing tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in HVAC systems. + Experience in troubleshooting various maintenance issues. Why Work Here?
