Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description The Forklift Operator is tasked with the safe and efficient operation of a forklift or similar equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role may also involve performing Order Filler and Checker duties. Responsibilities + Unload inbound shipments safely and transport products to storage locations. + Efficiently stack and store merchandise in designated areas. + Ensure accuracy and damage-free condition of inbound and outbound shipments. + Report any quality variances observed. + Prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type are loaded and shipped. + Perform picking duties efficiently to meet customer service standards. + Move products from staging or storage areas into rail cars or trailers with precision. + Operate a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials. + Utilize radio frequency equipment for picking, receiving, put away, and load functions as required. + Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. + Conduct daily inspections and minor maintenance on forklifts or other equipment. + Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods. + Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure tight inventory control and security. + Assist in conducting physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation. + Keep work areas clean, neat, and orderly. + Assist in maintaining warehouse security. + Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. + Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards. Essential Skills + Proficient in operating forklifts and other related equipment. + Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. + Ability to perform minor maintenance on equipment. + Experience with radio frequency equipment for warehouse operations. + Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory control. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in performing Order Filler and Checker duties is beneficial. + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Marysville, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
