Description Robert Half is partnering with a long standing client for an immediate accounts receivable opening. Unique position that will primarily focus on billing, collections, aging reports, and setting up new customers, where the game plan is for it to pivot into a general accounting role a few months down the line. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner. u2022 Monitor and manage accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely collection of payments. u2022 Generate and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate follow-up actions. u2022 Set up new client accounts, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate. u2022 Reconcile cash activity, ensuring all payments are posted correctly and discrepancies are addressed. u2022 Assist in preparing financial reports related to receivables for management review. u2022 Maintain detailed records of all billing and collection activities for audit purposes. u2022 Provide support for process improvements within the accounts receivable function. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role. u2022 Strong knowledge of cash applications and commercial collections processes. u2022 Familiarity with generating and managing aging reports. u2022 Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal teams. u2022 Excel - Pivot Tables and VLookups. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
