A well-known tech. company is hiring for an Onsite Medical Rep. for its Penns Grove, PA location Please apply if you have 1+ years of medical EMT/Combat Medic experience, a valid CPR/BLS certification and First Aid certification. Onsite in Penns Grove, NJ. Looking for EMTs, Paramedics, Combat Medics, Hospital Corpsman, Aerospace Medical Technicians, Field Medics, Healthcare Specialists (military) and Firefighters with 1+ years of medical experience. Description: The Onsite Medical Representative will serve as the siteu2019s designated first aid provider in the warehouse, coordinating and implementing the Safety Program. The OMR will provide first aid care to injured employees, actively analyze tasks for potential safety issues, participate in the Workersu2019 Compensation process, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to management. The OMR will function as a part of the larger onsite safety team, helping to provide assistance with all health and safety needs. This includes attending weekly associate safety committee meetings, greeting all new hires for the site, either within a group setting at New Hire Orientation or through one-on-one interaction. The OMR will also participate, as needed, in incident investigations and weekly case management review meetings. Responsibilities: u00b7 Provide triage, first-aid, and/or referral to outside medical providers, if indicated. u00b7 Maintain all records of care provided to associates. u00b7 Maintain first-aid kits, inventory supplies, restock and clean equipment used to provide first aid care. u00b7 Provide accommodation recommendations related to job placement for all employees on restrictions given by a medical provider. u00b7 Provide daily activity logs to the safety team and leadership team. Provide analysis of all onsite incidents on a monthly basis including recommendations on how to reduce the risk and severity of injuries within the warehouse. u00b7 Frequent u201cfloor timeu201d to interact with both associates and managers, providing coaching on observed at-risk work habits. Attend and speak at daily u201cstart-upu201d meetings. u00b7 Understand and learn each department and job function within the warehouse to fully understand the body mechanics involved in every task. Be actively involved with improvements to the standard work process. u00b7 Initiate and maintain Workersu2019 Compensation cases when applicable. u00b7 Update the communication board with health and safety tips for the building. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience: u00b7 Ability to communicate health and safety needs to all levels of the organization. u00b7 Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations. Qualifications: u00b7 Valid State EMT-Basic Certification from the Department of Health from the state you are working in AND/OR valid National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification u00b7 1 year+ experience providing emergency services in a pre-hospital setting u00b7 Valid CPR certification at the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross) u00b7 High School Diploma or equivalent required u00b7 Must be able to work flexible shifts which could include days, nights, and/or weekends u00b7 Ability to maintain all medical credentials u00b7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office u00b7 Certified to teach First-Aid, CPR and AED u00b7 Experience leading and managing a team u00b7 Experience with OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 u00b7 Experience with Workersu2019 Compensation Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Penns Grove, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
