The position offers the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, job costing, and process improvements while working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. u2022 Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. u2022 Conduct detailed account reconciliations for bank accounts, balance sheets, and intercompany transactions, resolving discrepancies efficiently. u2022 Manage job costing and project accounting processes, including cost tracking and variance analysis for construction projects. u2022 Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing actionable financial insights to support decision-making. u2022 Analyze key financial metrics such as revenue, cost of goods sold, and operational expenses to identify trends and areas for improvement. u2022 Collaborate with operations, project managers, and senior leadership to provide comprehensive financial support and reporting. u2022 Support internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary schedules, documentation, and reconciliations. u2022 Strengthen and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards. u2022 Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or Finance. u2022 A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or a related industry. u2022 Solid understanding of financial reporting principles and general ledger accounting. u2022 Hands-on experience with job costing, project accounting, or inventory accounting is highly desirable. u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and data analysis tools. u2022 Familiarity with accounting software systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar platforms. u2022 Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
