Electrical Assembly Technician (Cleanroom Manufacturing) Location: Fairfield, CT Schedule: Compressed Work Week (CWW) u2013 Days & Nights Available Start Your Career in Electrical Assembly & Advanced Manufacturing Are you a trade school graduate, electrical program student, or hands-on learner interested in electrical assembly and high-tech manufacturing? This Entry-Level Electrical Assembly Technician role offers hands-on experience assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and subassemblies in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with wiring, connectors, tools, and diagrams, and who want structured training, steady schedules, and a clear path to grow into senior technician or engineering support roles. What Youu2019ll DoElectrical Assembly & Wiring + Assemble and wire electrical components and subassemblies following work instructions, wiring diagrams, and schematics + Install connectors, cables, harnesses, sensors, and electrical hardware + Perform soldering and crimping as required (training provided if needed) + Ensure proper routing, labeling, and securement of wiring Testing & Inspection + Perform basic electrical and functional testing using standard equipment + Conduct continuity checks, visual inspections, and verification testing + Identify, document, and report wiring defects or assembly errors + Support repairs, rework, and corrective actions Quality & Process Discipline + Follow all safety, ESD, cleanroom, and quality procedures + Accurately document work completed and issues identified + Participate in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement activities Team Collaboration + Work closely with other assembly technicians, leads, and engineers + Learn best practices for electrical assembly and manufacturing + Support production schedules and daily electrical build priorities Who This Role Is For This is an entry-level electrical assembly role, designed for candidates beginning their careers in electrical or electro-mechanical manufacturing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
