The Connecticut Orthopedic Instituteu2019s Physician Assistant team is a growing department that covers inpatient joint reconstruction, spine, podiatry and acute fracture care. _Physician Assistant (PA) Description_ First and/or Second Assist in the Operating Room. Provides pre-operative and post-operative care to patients. Documents patient encounters, including but not limited to: admissions, brief operative, progress, event, procedure and discharge notes. Enters, reviews and updates orders. Collaborates as part of a multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe and appropriate patient disposition.
