SPECIMEN PROCESSOR Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Tulsa, OK. Work Schedule: M - F ; 12 - 830p, weekends and holidays as scheduled Job Responsibilities u2022 Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing u2022 Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas u2022 Accurately identify and label specimens u2022 Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities u2022 Meet department activity and production goals u2022 Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples u2022 Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner u2022 Resolve and document any problem specimens Minimum Qualification: u2022 High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred Qualification: u2022 Current or prior Labcorp experience Additional Job Standards u2022 Comfortable handling biological specimens u2022 Experience in a lab or specimen processing u2022 Experience in a medical/clinical laboratory experience u2022 Experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital u2022 Experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment u2022 Ability to accurately identify specimens u2022 Experience working in a team environment u2022 Strong data entry and organizational skills u2022 High level of attention to detail u2022 Proficient in MS Office u2022 Ability to lift up to 40lbs. u2022 Able to pass a standardized color blindness test At Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
