Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This Contract to permanent position involves ensuring accurate financial records, handling customer communications, and supporting billing operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities: u2022 Contact customers to collect outstanding payments and ensure timely resolution of billing issues. u2022 Process and input invoices with accuracy and maintain organized financial records. u2022 Respond to incoming customer inquiries in a courteous and attentive manner. u2022 Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and ensure proper application of payments. u2022 Collaborate with the team to support smooth financial operations and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Perform cash applications, including posting payments to appropriate accounts. u2022 Assist with commercial collections and follow up on overdue accounts. u2022 Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures in all financial activities. u2022 Generate reports related to accounts receivable and present findings to management. Requirements u2022 Minimum of one year of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role. u2022 Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, including collections and billing. u2022 Proficiency in cash applications and managing cash collections. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a detail-oriented approach. u2022 Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. u2022 Punctual and reliable, with exceptional organizational skills. u2022 A bacheloru2019s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required. u2022 Familiarity with financial software and tools to support daily tasks.
