Responsibilities will include assisting the Community Impact team in research, writing, and administrative support on projects, including donations stewardship, support for our Volunteers Count program, support for special events, and research and written updates around policy issues that impact the credit union. Duties include: event preparation and event follow up, storage room organization, writing assignments, research and analysis, data entry, and compiling and summarizing material on various, complex topics.This position is fully in-person (Liberty Lake, WA).Duration: Summer 2026 - Winter 2026Hours per Week: Average of 15 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Opportunity for full-time work over the summer.Car Needed: YesMileage Reimbursement: Yes, excluding travel to and from the work locationWork Location: In-person at STCU Headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA QualificationsRequiredCandidate needs to be an enrolled college student for the entirety of the internship and seeking credits, through Winter 2026 (Masters students ok).Currently working on a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Political Science, Government Relations, Public Administration, Economics or Law, or similar.Versatile to work in a small team as a contributor and self-starterAbility to research, take complex information and synthesize it into high level executive summariesOrganized and good at helping others get organizedExcellent verbal, organizational and writing skills.
