The Hartley Lab (PI: Catherine Hartley) at New York University seeks a Postdoctoral Associate to work on neuroimaging and behavioral studies examining learning, memory and decision-making across development. NYU offers an excellent training environment. The lab is located within the NYU Department of Psychology which, along with the Center for Neural Science and the Center for Data Science, is home to a large research community using computational approaches to study brain and behavior. NYU has excellent cognitive neuroscience research facilities including MRI, MEG, EEG, and TMS. Postdoctoral Associates will also receive training in professional/career development and grantsmanship. This position is based in New York and the selected candidate will be expected to work onsite as of their effective start date. In compliance with NYCu2019s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $62,500-$90,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer. Strong applicants will have many of the following qualifications: - A Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience or a related field - A conceptual foundation in learning, memory, and/or decision-making - Experience and/or interest in conducting developmental research - Experience with computational modeling approaches - Experience acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting brain imaging data (e.g., FSL, SPM, AFNI) - Demonstrated ability to complete projects, as evidenced by first-author publications - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills - Strong programming, statistical, and technical skills (e.g., Matlab, Python, R) Please apply with your cover letter, CV, and 2-3 references.
