This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see:client, a medical device manufacturer in Wheeling, seeks a skilledand experienced QA CMM Programmer.Key Responsibilities- Create, verify, and optimize programs for automated inspection equipment, ensuring accurate and repeatable measurement results. - Perform inspections using CMMs, measuring tools, and electronic instruments in accordance with specifications and quality standards. - Develop and execute First Article Inspection plans, including ballooned drawings and documentation required by internal teams or customers. - Troubleshoot inspection methods, measurement challenges, and equipment issues, recommending effective alternatives or improvements. - Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing to support new product introductions, measurement system development, and process improvements. POSITION REQUIREMENTSKnowledge / Education / Experience- High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in a technical field or other technical degree preferred.- 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing or regulated industrySkills / Competencies / Requirements- Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints- Has basic knowledge in the use of hand gages, tool scopes and height stands- Experience measuring physical dimension on parts- Advanced knowledge of GD&T- Experience with Vision-based CMM systems- Ability to read and understand work instructions. Strong verbal communication and organizations skills.
