Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Material Preparation Technician in Columbus, OH. This is a contract opportunity, offering weekly pay and an opportunity to expand your experience. If this role sounds like something you would be interested in, and you meet the qualifications listed below, apply now Whatu2019s in this position for you? + Pay: $19/hr + Shift/Hours: Monday u2013 Friday (7:00am u2013 3:00pm) + Weekly Paycheck Job Description : The Material Preparation Technician reviews and inspects incoming materials and uses various tools and equipment to maintain and ensure material quality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : + Count inbound forms and verify against expected receipts. Properly document discrepancies and damages. Report such to supervisor/manager/lead. + Determine need for cleaning/oils. Sort as appropriate. + Safely operate hand tools to remove debris or damaged wood from forms. + Safely operate power tools, such as grinder or table grinders, to remove other debris/dirt from forms as determined to be needed. + Apply fresh form oil as deemed necessary using provided sprayers. + Pick outbound prepped forms for transfers and/or live customer orders as required/instructed. + Perform general shipping processes such as wrapping and applying proper shipping labels, producing BOLs, etc. + Perform general housekeeping responsibilities such as sweeping, mopping, etc as instructed/needed.
