Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Finance Manager to support a large academic medical center in NYC, working closely with the Surgery and Transplant departments. This role is responsible for overseeing dayu2011tou2011day financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting, while ensuring a clear understanding of where funds come from and how theyu2019re spent across clinical, research, and education operations. The Finance Manager partners closely with both central finance leadership and departmental leaders to explain financial results, support strategic planning, evaluate new initiatives, and ensure all funding sourcesu2014such as clinical revenue, grants, and philanthropyu2014are used appropriately and in compliance. This role may also manage junior finance staff and serves as a key financial advisor to department leadership, helping keep accounts balanced and supporting longu2011term planning.
