Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description This role involves operating within a coin processing facility to load, unload, and handle coin bags and containers, feed materials into coin separation machines, and support smooth production flow throughout the shift. You will work on your feet for the full workday, regularly handling heavy loads, and use basic mechanical skills to keep equipment such as wheels and containers in good working order. Responsibilities + Load and unload coin wraps, bags, and large barrels of coins and place them into coin separator machines for processing and wrapping. + Handle and maneuver coin bags weighing up to 50 pounds and move larger wheeled containers that may reach a couple hundred pounds. + Move containers and materials across the facility floor, potentially up to 100 feet at a time, while maintaining safe handling practices. + Stand and work on your feet for the full 8-hour shift while performing repetitive production and general labor tasks. + Monitor the flow of coins through the machines and ensure that packaging and wrapping processes run smoothly. + Use basic mechanical aptitude to inspect, adjust, and perform minor fixes on wheels, carts, and containers as needed. + Follow all safety procedures, including use of provided safety gear, and comply with facility security protocols when entering and exiting. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and reduce safety risks. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and support overall warehouse and production operations. Essential Skills + Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment. + Ability to regularly lift and handle bags of coins weighing up to 50 pounds and maneuver containers that may reach a couple hundred pounds. + Capability to stand and work on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift. + Comfort working in a loud, fast-paced production setting. + Mechanical inclination to troubleshoot and perform minor fixes on wheels, carts, and containers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with general labor, general production, or packaging work. + Familiarity with operating or feeding materials into production or separation machinery. + Ability to follow detailed safety and security procedures consistently. + Strong work ethic and reliability in attendance and performance. + Interest in learning additional duties that can support growth into driving or supervisory roles. Work Environment The role is based in a climate-controlled production facility that processes large volumes of coins. The environment is very loud, and the company provides ear plugs, safety glasses, and an optional back brace to support comfort and safety. You will spend the entire 8-hour shift on your feet, moving materials and operating around machinery. Security is a key focus: you will be wanded when entering and exiting the facility, similar to airport screening. Due to the nature of the work with coins, pants cannot have pockets and must comply with the facilityu2019s dress code and security guidelines.
