Job Title: Superintendent Job Description Assist in overseeing construction projects from start to finish, focusing on the renovation of CPS projects. Coordinate and supervise the activities of construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Monitor project progress, report deviations from the plan, and help manage project schedules and deadlines. Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, conduct on-site inspections and quality checks, communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients, contribute to problem-solving and conflict resolution on-site, and maintain project documentation and records. Work Environment This project focuses on CPS renovations in Chicago, lasting from May to October with a potential for long-term opportunities. The role involves working on government/military-based projects, providing stability against economic volatility. The work environment is dynamic and requires adaptability, with a focus on maintaining growth despite challenges. The project is expected to last six months, with the opportunity to stay on long-term. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
