Industrial manufacturer in Lancaster, PA looking for a Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd shift. Ready to interview candidates as soon as this week and can start ASAP. Open to candidates looking to gain more experience as long as they have a solid mechanical inclination and at least trade school or 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience. 2nd shift: 4:00pm - 12am Monday - Friday (overtime is rare, candidate should expect a 40 hour work week) Pay Range: $25 - 30/hr (Possibly $1-2/hr higher depending on experience level) Job Description Join our team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and setup of machinery used in power cord production. Responsibilities + Set up various machines and change out tooling depending on the type of cord being produced. + Conduct daily maintenance checks on machines to ensure they are functioning correctly. + Troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed. + Adjust and align machine parts for optimal performance. + Replace defective parts of machinery as needed to minimize downtime. + Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, hydraulic, and air pneumatic systems effectively. + Apply knowledge of OSHA Lockout-Tagout requirements to maintain a safe working environment. Essential Skills + Strong mechanical ability with some industrial electrical knowledge. + Experience with 240V/480V and 3-phase motors. (Preferred) + Attention to detail and dexterity. + Troubleshooting and problem-solving ability. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Forklift experience is a plus. + Experience with mold machines is advantageous. Why Work Here? Laid back work environment with a solid maintenance team.
