Boxer Property is searching for a qualified Handyman that will be responsible for the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of various projects and components in the Fort Worth area. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform a variety of skilled plumbing and electrical activities associated with the maintenance and repair of facilities Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and a variety of plumbing fixtures such as faucets, sinks, toilets, and water heaters Perform a variety of electrical repair and maintenance tasks involving facilities; repair, replace, and maintain electrical wiring, fuses, switches, motors, generators, lighting systems, and other electrical fixtures and equipment; install conduits, wires, pull boxes, and switches required in making additions, extensions, or alterations in electrical systems; identify damaged or worn electrical components and takes corrective action as assigned All other duties as assigned Qualifications Experience, Knowledge and Education: 2years of experience in building operations, engineering and equipment, and systems maintenance (Preferred) Ability to operate a variety of tools and equipment related to facilities maintenance and repairs Ability to troubleshoot the operation of electrical pumps and motors Ability to adhere to safe work practices and policies, standard practices, methods, materials and equipment used in facilities maintenance; occupational hazards and safe work practices associated with the work; operation and application of a variety of tools and equipment associated with the work Ability to recognize chemical products and their designated use and to read and comprehend Material Safety Data information associated with cleaning products Ability to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others Advanced customer service skills to diplomatically communicate with customers Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently, excellent attention to detail Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction Additional Requirements: Successfully pass pre-employment screening.
