Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for Graduate Assistant in the Counseling department on the Cumming campus. The Graduate Assistant will assist faculty and manage the front desk area. Must be a second year CMHC student. Duration of position is approximately 14 weeks for 10 hours a week. This position will include a tuition waiver. Responsibilities Clerical and administrative duties: scan, fax, copy etc.Assist with literature searches for municate with the public about the program.Attend Graduate Student meetings and assist with graduate Student Senate (GSS) budget tracking.Assist faculty with events.Attend graduate School Fair.Assist with planning and coordinating of department social events.Assist faculty with administrative duties related to accreditation and program assessment.Support department Staff Associate as needed.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesKnowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel), Social Media Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required.Currently enrolled in Master of Science in Counseling (full-time) and completed first year of course work.Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in the minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.Office experience.Facebook and LinkedIn experience required.
