Restoration Estimator (Xactimate) Location: Charlottesville, VAWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Restoration Estimator to join a growing team. This role is responsible for inspecting property damage, writing accurate Xactimate estimates, and working closely with insurance carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure projects are properly scoped and approved.Key Responsibilities: Inspect residential and commercial properties for water, fire, mold, and storm damageCreate detailed estimates using Xactimate, including line items and sketchesDevelop clear and accurate scopes of work for production teamsCommunicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters to secure approvalsManage revisions, supplements, and estimate updates as neededCoordinate with project managers to ensure alignment on job scope and budgetMaintain timely turnaround on estimates and documentationProvide a high level of customer communication throughout the estimating process Qualifications: Proven experience writing estimates in XactimateStrong understanding of restoration and/or construction practicesAbility to read and interpret scopes, photos, and project documentationExcellent communication and negotiation skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience: Background in restoration, construction, or insurance adjustingIICRC certifications are a plus Compensation & Benefits: Competitive base salary + performance incentivesCompany vehicle or allowance (if applicable)Health benefits and paid time offOpportunities for growth within a stable and expanding organization This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in driving project success and revenue.
