*Location**: Groton, MA Logistics TechnicianHours: 8am - 4:30pmPay: $25 - 30/hr. There is most likely no OT included, although that's not definite This is a 6 month contract, however it could potentially extend longer depending on the needs of the department. This is a small team. This person will be working with about 7 people on the team overall - The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will be the person that the Logistics Coordinator reports into. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager, Buyer, and Scheduler are all on the team and they sit at the Groton location. There are (3) other people at the Clinton warehouse including a Supervisor who are also on the team. The purpose of this Logistics Coordinator position is to really "tie up the loose ends" so to speak. There's been a lot of chaos and moving parts within the department - with several new people including the Sr. Supply Chain Manager and Materials Manager recentlyjoining the team. They are looking to expand the warehouse in Clinton so there is a ton of material / equipment being moved from Groton to Clinton. They want this Logistics Coordinator to help out with a lot of the inventory control issues that they've been experiencing over the last few months. This role is 100% onsite **Need candidates who have trucking scheduling experience. Someone who has coordinated and facilitated shipments - dealing with trucking companies. **? Looking for candidates who are very organized and able to meet challenges head on without hesitation Looking for candidates who can "hit the ground running" right when they start and don't need to be micro-managed.
