Job Description

Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Forklift Operator in the Adairsville, GA area. The Forklift Operator Supplies production lines with raw materials to ensure continuity of production, removes bins from machines to be stored in the warehouse or loaded onto trailers (direct load) and ensures proper management of waste bins.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pmThe Forklift Operator receives prioritized work orders from their supervisor, as well as oral and/or written instructions recorded in SharePoint.Follows scanner instructions indicating required movementsFollows instructions from superiors to improve working methods and avoid complaints or damageAdapts to changes in work priorities or assignments at the request of managementPrepares, packages, stores, and loads materials as requested within the given timeframeMaintains order and cleanlinessRemoves waste according to established instructionsRespects the environmentEnsures and monitors the quality and stability of packages and stacked goodsCommunicates all data necessary for performance calculations to supervisors by completing the end-of-shift report (recording everything performed during the shift)Assists colleagues when neededSupplies production machines (profiling, painting, welding) with raw materials (wood, slats, pallets, powders, chemicals, packaging materials, auxiliary products, welding wire, hooks, raw parts, etc.)Ensures that production lines do not run out of raw materialsLoads trucks destined for customers according to product type (PRC, hooks, feet, plates, etc.)Notifies the supervisor in case of damage or other anomaliesProperly stores packages coming from productionMoves packages within the warehouse at the request of a superiorPerforms cleaning tasks according to instructions or upon supervisor requestCharges vehicle batteries within the required timeframeCounts items during inventory and contributes to cycle countsIs courteous and polite with driversPerforms 5S audits according to instructions QualificationsWarehouse knowledgeProduct knowledgeWarehouse proceduresAbility to use scanning devicesAbility to operate a front forklift (license or authorization required)Ability to operate a reach truck (license or authorization required)For consideration:1) Apply online with the Cartersville branch2) Call 678-655-6533 to schedule an interview after you complete the online application.CHASE provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, status as disabled veteran, marital status or any other legally- protected characteristic in accordance with applicable laws.
