In this role, you will provide friendly, accurate, and professional service while assisting members with everyday financial transactions and helping them access the products and services that support their financial goals.If you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and building relationships in your community, we would love to meet you.What You'll DoAs a Member Services Representative, you will:Welcome members and provide exceptional service in person, by phone, and electronically.Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately and efficiently.Provide account information and assist members with questions regarding credit union products and services.Open and maintain member accounts, including assisting members who are not physically present.Process and disburse member loans.Balance your cash drawer and daily transactions while researching any discrepancies.Assist members with online banking access and general account service needs.Identify opportunities to recommend products or services that may benefit the member.Maintain accurate member records and follow all credit union policies and procedures.Support branch operations through administrative tasks such as answering phones, scanning, filing, and data entry.What We're Looking ForExperience1-3 years of customer service, banking, cash handling, or related experience preferred.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.SkillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsHigh attention to detail when working with financial transactionsAbility to communicate professionally and maintain confidentialityComfortable using computers and ten-key calculatorsAbility to build relationships and provide solutions that benefit membersWhat Success Looks LikeDelivering friendly, professional service aligned with The North Star Way service standardsAccurately processing transactions and balancing your drawer dailyResponding to member inquiries promptly and effectivelyIdentifying opportunities to recommend products that support members’ financial well-beingMaintaining a professional and team-oriented work environmentWhy Join Us?At North Star Community Credit Union, we are committed to supporting our members, employees, and communities.
