Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support a growing operation in Canton, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of diesel and non-diesel vehicles and equipment, ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and keeping equipment in top condition. ? Pay & Schedule + Middlesborough, MA + $30 u2013 $40/hr (based on experience) + Afternoon shift starting at 12 noon + Overtime available (including occasional nights/weekends) ? What Youu2019ll Do + Perform preventative maintenance on diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment + Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including small engine repairs + Troubleshoot using computer diagnostics tools + Coordinate outsourced repairs with external vendors when needed + Maintain accurate repair records, work orders, and purchase orders + Ensure all vehicles meet inspection and registration requirements + Travel to job sites as needed to perform repairs + Communicate effectively with drivers and team members regarding equipment status ? What You Bring + 2+ years of diesel engine repair experience + 3+ years of overall mechanical experience + Experience with computer diagnostics (required) + Strong understanding of diesel systems and hydraulics + Ability to troubleshoot and work independently + Valid Driveru2019s License (required) + Strong communication skills ? Nice to Have + CDL A + Experience with electrical systems and air brakes + Knowledge of DOT inspections (Level 1) ?
