In this position you will be open to the opportunitiesto have on-the-job training in avariety of skill sets related to the electric motor rewind and repairindustry.JOB SKILLS WE WILL TRAIN TO:Inspect various kinds of electromechanical equipment for damage andevidence of electricalspects parts as needed for incoming, outgoing, and quote buildingneeds.Test conditions of windings.Operate specialized repair and testing equipment, including but notlimited to: winding machines, est panels, surge testers, core-loss testers, and ovens.Assist with dismantling and/or stripping of damaged or unserviceableelectromechanicalequipment.Assist with illustrating and/or documenting all data relevant to unitselectromagneticcharacteristics, operating conditions, existing damage, or intendedserviceability.Operate cranes, forklifts, and various handheld power and non-powertools.Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment, including but notlimited to: single-phase, hree-phase, DC fields, armatures, wound rotors and transformers.Operates welders, grinders, and various other metal fabricationequipment to complete projectsas needed for customer plete the required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timelybasis.Maintains a clean workstation; daily sweeping, decluttering, andreplacing shop materials/tools toappropriate designated areas.Assist rewind technicians or other service center departments withskilled or non-skilled duties asdirected by supervisor.
