Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 100-bed community hospital in Southern Oregon, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment. This 13-week contract position provides a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable days and afternoon shifts, ideal for those seeking variety and flexibility in their workweek. Key Responsibilities: Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with protocols Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care through effective medication management Apply pharmacokinetic principles to tailor and monitor patient drug therapies Utilize IT systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to support pharmacy operations Qualifications or Desired Experience: Valid Oregon pharmacy license is required Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience, demonstrating a solid clinical background Availability for full-time work during the contract period Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively lead and consult within the healthcare team Location: Klamath Falls, Oregon, within a community hospital setting that supports professional growth This position is an excellent chance for pharmacists interested in travel roles who are ready to engage in impactful inpatient care.
