Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team at 8410 Executive Woods Dr.Ste ELincoln, NEWork Schedule: Weekend shift: Friday 11:59PM - Saturday 7:30AM, Saturday 7:30PM - Sunday 3:00AMJob Responsibilities:Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickupsComplete daily pick up schedule in a timely mannerDeliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shiftHandle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient mannerSafely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic lawsUtilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks upWork directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as neededEvaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as neededPreferred Qualifications:Current or Prior Labcorp experience1 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience, ideally within a medical or laboratory company.1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations1 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applicationsAdditional Job Standards:Valid Driver's License and good driving recordBe at least 21 years oldPunctual with strong time management skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCustomer service experienceAbility to problem solve customer issuesAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Flexibility to work overtime as neededStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently and in a teamComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt Labcorp we have a passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives.
