Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Perform breast imaging procedures including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound while adhering to MQSA and ACR guidelines to provide high-quality breast care. This travel position in Gypsum, CO offers a 13-week assignment with a day shift schedule of four 10-hour days, guaranteeing 36 hours weekly. Responsibilities: Perform and document breast imaging exams such as mammography and stereotactic biopsies with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Educate and communicate clearly with patients and their families to guide them through procedures and next steps in breast health care. Ensure quality control on all mammography and biopsy equipment, confirming compliance with industry standards. Review imaging results for technical accuracy and present findings to radiologists. Coordinate and schedule imaging appointments to maintain seamless patient care flow. Manage departmental workflow, including inventory and supply orders to support effective operations. Participate in breast health education and promotional activities. Assist with orientation of new staff and maintain continuing education credits (24 CEUs every two years) and current BLS certification. Uphold HIPAA regulations and organizational values at all times. Qualifications: ARRT certification with Mammography (M) required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. One year of experience in mammography and healthcare preferred. Proficient computer skills or ability to obtain them within 90 days. Strong communication skills in English.
