Server/Bartender $5/hr + tips Health, dental, vision insurance. Employee discount. We are looking for a professional, high-energy server/bartender with excellent communication skills to serve classical cocktails and exciting new beverages to our customers. The server/bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, execute recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.Full Responsibilities of a Server/BartenderServes patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner.Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customersMaintains dining ambiance with an personable and professional attitudePrepares the restaurant for service by setting up tables and barProtects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the restaurant's specialties, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering food preparation questions.Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requestsServes orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condimentsResponds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining processMaintains table and bar setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needsObtains revenues by issuing bills, accepting payments, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.Restock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesMaintaining a clean work and dining area/bar by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing/polishing glasses, utensils, and equipment.Attend’s BiWeekly staff training and continuing bar education.Server/Bartender Job Requirements:.Meets state minimum age to serve alcoholAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidaysPositive, engaging personality, and professional appearanceBasic math and computer skillsExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong task and time management abilitiesEye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniquesAbility to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.Previous bartender experience required
