Palmer Logistics is looking for skilled Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team!The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and efficient in a fast-paced environment. This position plays a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the proper preparation and accuracy of shipments. If you're a dedicated and proactive individual looking to make an impact in our organization, we want to hear from you!Pay Rate:$17.50 - $18.50 per hour depending on experience and knowledge.Key Responsibilities:Prepare product for shipping including but not limited to labeling, banding, stretch wrapping, block and brace, cleaning drums and totes, and restack bags and pails.Verify shipments for accuracy, document and report any spect and perform quality checks on orders prior to shipping.Utilize RF scanner.Follow established company policies and procedures.Collaborate with warehouse and office personnel to meet productivity goals.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.Qualifications:Must have 1-3 years of warehouse experience in a logistics environment.Forklift experience is a plus.Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.Must be able to work in a congested area(s) and non-climate-controlled warehouse.Handling hazardous material is a plus.Must be able to lift 50 lbs, adjust the body to bend, push, pull, stretch, stoop, squat, and grab; walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.High school diploma or GED.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.Why Join Us?
