Position Purpose To provide comprehensive, high level support for the Directorand Chaplain and the Tucker Center by managing day to day operations through an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the department’s various programs and priorities. The position will serve as a welcoming entry point and team member of the Tucker Center staff in promoting the goals of diversity, understanding, and community through spiritual, religious, ethical, and interfaith engagement. Description Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp Associates plus 3+ years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Associate’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three years of increasingly responsible office experience in a related field,with a high degree of autonomy. Experience working effectively within a complex organization. In-depth knowledge of office management practices and administrative procedures. Strong organizational skills. Proven ability to juggle priorities and multitask within a busy and high traffic environment. Initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a member of a team. Ability to interact with others with tact and diplomacy. Strong written and verbal communication and diplomacy skills; enjoys working with a variety of people. Flexible nature, nimble, ability to adjust and respond to changing demands. Strong budgetary skills and website skills. Proficiency with standard office computer systems such as Google Workspace, Canva, and Microsoft 365. Proactive in learning new technologies. Curious, creative and engaged team player. Experience with cross-departmental communication and cooperation. Excellent judgment and sensitivity in working with confidential information. Commitment to diversity and to serving the needs of a diverse community. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience coordinating large-scale events preferred. Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated successful experience in multi-faith setting preferred. Experience making and evaluating surveys. Experience collecting and evaluating data, including observational, quantitative, and qualitative data. Experience with training students, including creating training material, providing training, and evaluating effectiveness of training. Experience evaluating effectiveness of higher education operational processes. Proficiency with Drupal, Canva, Campus Groups, Oracle, and Zoom Workplace. Project management skills a plus.
