Job Title: TIG Welder $20-$21 Job Description This role focuses on producing high-quality welded and finished metal components for custom electrical enclosure solutions. You will work primarily with stainless steel, cold rolled steel, and occasionally aluminum, using MIG and TIG welding techniques as well as polishing, grinding, and deburring to deliver precise, production-ready parts. Responsibilities + Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, cold rolled steel, and occasionally aluminum components in a production environment. + Polish, grind, and deburr finished products to achieve smooth surfaces and high-quality finishes. + Assist with welding operations as needed, supporting the fabrication of custom metal parts and enclosures. + Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for fabrication, finishing, and general production tasks. + Read and interpret basic blueprints or work instructions to complete welding and finishing tasks accurately. + Inspect workpieces during and after welding and finishing to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures and production guidelines. + Support general labor and production activities as required to meet daily output and scheduling goals. Essential Skills + Hands-on experience with TIG welding in a production or fabrication environment. + Experience assisting with MIG welding on stainless steel, cold rolled steel, and aluminum components. + Proficiency in polishing, grinding, and deburring metal parts to a finished state. + Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a fabrication setting. + Familiarity with reading and following basic blueprints or fabrication drawings. + Strong attention to detail to ensure weld quality and surface finish meet required standards. + Ability to perform general labor and production tasks in a metal fabrication environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience working in a general production or manufacturing environment. + Experience in metal fabrication, including cutting, fitting, or assembly of metal parts. + Comfort working with various metals such as stainless steel, cold rolled steel, and aluminum. + Ability to follow detailed work instructions and adapt to changing production priorities. + Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to assist across different production tasks.
