The IPB (International Private Bank) analyst will support event activities, associated reporting, administrative tasks and general project management across the three IPB regions (EMEA, Latin America and Asia). The event team's goals are to help markets increase client business/deepen existing relationships, create, and drive efficiencies for all internal partners and maintain the J.P. Morgan brand standard at all events. This position demands strong communication skills, accuracy, long hours with occasional travel. Data management is an equal part of overall responsibilities. The role reports directly to the Head of IPB Events in New York. As an Events Management Analyst in the IPB Events team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting event activities, associated reporting, administrative tasks, and project management across the three IPB regions. You will collaborate with a dynamic event team dedicated to increasing client business, deepening existing relationships, driving operational efficiencies for internal partners, and maintaining the highest brand standards at every event. This role requires strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the flexibility to work extended hours with occasional travel. You will also be responsible for comprehensive data management, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all aspects of event execution. Job responsibilities: + Assistance researching event venues, obtaining event proposals and developing vendor contacts. + Data management for events and internal reporting. + Support with internal meetings - zoom recordings, presentation decks and note taking. + Invoice processing and inventory management for event supplies. + Ownership of pre-event tasks such as briefing templates, production of name badges, printed materials, packing and shipping of event supplies. + Support to source and order branded merchandise for flagship events and event sponsorships. + Management of event communications via dedicated event management platform, including invitation generation and tracking, reminders, and post-event communications. + Onsite event responsibilities may include registration desk management, distribution of materials, oversight of presentations/AV needs, and coordination with vendors. + Strong emphasis on confidential data management by leveraging in-house events management platform to track events, manage RSVPs and ROI analysis. + Assistance with ticket inventory, allocations to front office partners and compliance reporting requirements. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills + A minimum of 2 years of work experience + Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines. + Excellent oral and written communications skills. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly amongst a variety of personalities + Excellent/advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access. + Familiarity with CRM platforms + Ability to work early mornings and late evenings, understanding last minute opportunities may produce schedule changes. + Willingness to learn, adapt and have a positive and professional attitude. Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills + Financial services experience and event planning experience is a plus + Foreign language skills are preferred but not mandatory (French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin).
