Now Hiring Assembler in Thomasville, PA First Shift Opportunity- 7am Start time Pay: $17/hr increases to $18 after 90 days Job Description Join a collaborative production team assembling large HVAC units for commercial buses in a clean, modern, and well-organized manufacturing facility. You will work on an assembly line or in a small cell of 4u20135 people, using a variety of hand and power tools to build your assigned section of the unit before passing it down the line. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow detailed instructions, and a commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities + Assemble HVAC units for commercial buses on a production line or in a designated cell as part of a 4u20135 person team. + Use a variety of hand and power tools at your station to complete assigned tasks safely and accurately. + Work with small, medium, and large parts, ensuring all components are correctly fitted and secured. + Follow detailed written and verbal work instructions, assembly drawings, and production guidelines. + Collaborate closely with team members, leads, and supervisors to maintain smooth workflow along the line. + Meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail. + Perform mechanical assembly tasks consistently and efficiently throughout the shift. + Inspect your work for accuracy and completeness before passing units to the next station. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility standards. + Support overtime and Saturday work as needed to meet production demands. Essential Skills + 2+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting performing assembly work. + Proven experience working on an assembly line in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge and hands-on experience using hand and power tools. + Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. + Ability to work effectively both in a team setting and independently. + Comfort working with a mix of small, medium, and large mechanical parts. Work Environment Work in a clean, bright, and temperature-controlled production facility featuring a brand-new building with a state-of-the-art breakroom, lobby, and offices. The production floor is large, well lit, organized, and designed for efficient assembly line work, with each station equipped with all necessary hand and power tools. This is a 1st shift role, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with frequent opportunities to work until 5:00 p.m. and occasional Saturday overtime, typically from 7:00 a.m. to around 2:30 p.m., generally on a voluntary basis unless production needs increase. Employees receive a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and a 15-minute paid break every four hours worked. The environment supports focus, safety, and teamwork throughout the shift.
