IMMEDIATE HIRE AND START Job Title: Warehouse Associate Location: Manhattan, NY Pay: $17 hour The Warehouse Associate, is responsible for picking and packing grocery items and other goods, scanning items for order completion, and ensuring that the customer's goods are well protected. Responsibilities + Pick and pack grocery items and other goods. + Scan items for order completion. + Ensure customer goods are well-protected. + Process picking, scanning, and packing. + Implement safe food practices specific to the department. + Assist in housekeeping of the department. + Maintain excellent safety, quality, cleanliness, and productivity standards within the distribution warehouse. + Audit product for quality. + Maintain a team player mentality by assisting others when needed. Essential Skills + Ability to count and scan items accurately. + Experience with shipping and receiving. + Inventory management skills. + Ability to work in cold environments for extended periods. + Experience with fresh produce. + Proficiency in using scanning equipment. + Strong customer service skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience receiving, stocking, or inventory roles. + Ability to work in cold environments. + Capability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. + Experience with FDA-approved cleaning chemicals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
