Our Engineers are in involved in designing or integrating Power Systems, Life Safety systems (Ventilation and Fire), Traffic systems and mechanical systems You will be exposed to and become proficient in programming, designing and implementation of SCADA systems. Additional requirements include knowledge of PLC and HMI programming, panel building, power distribution system, Mechanical Systems (Pump, Fuel and Generators), fire alarm and life safety systems and construction administration services.Your daily job function will include one or more of the following:u2022 Programming PLCs and HMI.u2022 Configuring Communication Networks.u2022 Perform Factory and Site Testing and commissioning tasks.u2022 Develop shop drawings and O&M manuals.u2022 Design SCADA Network, panel layouts, I/O wiring diagrams and fiber optic networks.u2022 Develop Bill of Materials and Estimates for Design projects.u2022 Prepare drawings detailing the system designed utilizing AutoCAD and REVITu2022 Develop Conceptual design reports and Concept of Operation Documents.u2022 Prepare Engineering Specifications.u2022 Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architectsu2022 Engaging with SCADA vendors and manufactures to understand product capabilities.At Jacobs, weu2019re partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates.
