Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ Responsibilities: Independently is responsible for service on imaging equipment and radiation oncology therapy systems including but not limited to: x-ray, ultrasound, computed radiology equipment, mammography, nuclear medicine, angio/cath, CAT scanners, linear accelerators, and MRI scanners. Works on special projects, such as new equipment evaluations, recalls, and incident reporting. Assists in the design of areas where clinical equipment will be installed. Participates in assigned departmental committees. Performs limited team lead duties in the absence of the team leader. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS + Performs safety/preventive maintenance inspections and services clinical imaging equipment to determine operational status and compliance with manufacturers and industry technical standards and specifications. + Performs calibrations and performance verifications on clinical imaging equipment. + Responds to operator complaints about clinical imaging equipment malfunctions. + Troubleshoots, isolates equipment malfunctions and repairs clinical imaging equipment. + Performs equipment modifications when instructions, diagrams, prints, or schematics are provided for technical guidance. + Maintains electronic medical equipment management database files for compliance with departmental and accreditation requirements. + Other duties as assigned.
