Job Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Assembler who can efficiently and accurately assemble components and materials according to plans and specifications. The ideal candidate should be able to understand both written and verbal instructions, follow drawings and work instructions, and have experience in carpentry, roofing, or mechanical assembly. Responsibilities + Assemble structural metal building panels in a manufacturing setting. + Operate hand and power tools efficiently. + Accurately use measuring devices including squares and tape measures. + Participate in safe material handling and suspended load movements. + Follow instructions and execute assigned duties promptly. + Complete tasks within set timeframes to ensure goals are met. + Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. + Perform all other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, repair, assembly, installation, and cutting. + High school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree. + 2+ years of experience in siding, roofing, metalworking, or assembly. + Ability to select and operate proper tools for tasks. + Skillful operation of non-specialized shop equipment. + Ability to read tape measure down to 1/16th inch. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to read blueprints is advantageous. + A positive attitude is essential. + Full range of mobility in upper and lower body. + Capability to reach overhead and work in various positions. + Ability to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment, up to 70 pounds.
