If you are an individualwholoves towork withCNCmachines andmanufacturecustom components, this role could be for you!Responsibilities:Can demonstratetheability to setup, run, and dimensionally maintain quality in a production environmentGood Inspection Skills and Blueprint reading skills,withtheability to use all shop inspection toolsBasic Troubleshooting skills and must be able to recognize production problems such as out-of-tolerance Machining, poor finishes, damaged or worn cutters, and toolingAbility to dial in a hole or Edge-Find and set Machine OffsetsBasic understanding of G & M codeVersatility across multiple machine centers is a plusMeets job standard times with minimal supervisionQualifications:1+ yearsof experienceoperating and setting up lathesis required1+ yearsofexperienceworkingwith 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machinesisrequired1+ years ofexperience with multi-turret lathesis preferred1+ years ofexperience with live toolingis preferredThree years plus experience running a CNC mill orarecentMachinist Tech Training Certificateis preferredProven ability to consistently run good parts that meet production standardsStrong skills and aptitude in mathGood organizational skills and attention to detailAHigh School Diploma/GED,or trade/technical certificationis preferredPrior experience working in manufacturingis preferredPrior experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring equipmentis preferredUnderstanding of lean manufacturing principlesis preferredSalary Range:$42,000-62,400per year,depending onexperience.
