Quality Lab Technician We are seeking a Quality Technician who will ensure that all program and procedures are followed and implemented as described by the company guidelines who will maintain a high degree of quality, while working efficiently and cost effectively. Specific Duties: Assist with equipment maintenance such as, maintaining equipment log, troubleshooting, accuracy checks, calibration records Assist the quality team on identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing quality steps Perform investigations and provide input on corrective actions during non-conforming work Assist with scheduling safety training, drills, respirator maintenance, and fit testing as a back-up Assist departments and oversee quarterly preventive maintenance and cleaning Assist with supply receiving, ordering and inventory Departmental spot checks and audits assisting the quality team Draft work instructions and help with document changes Comply with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 quality standards. Follow company policy and meet established procedures regarding bio-security, animal welfare, safety, ISO requirements, and drug/alcohol policy. May perform other tasks as deemed necessary by Supervisor. Requirements: Basic computer knowledge including creating documents and spreadsheets Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Effective time management and ability to prioritize objectives Ability to perform tasks with little or no supervision; dependability Previous lab experience preferred but not required based on department assigned Must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to accomplish daily and weekly goals as well as deal with changing testing needs requested by supervisors or the veterinarian
