Assisting with the maintenance of our kitchen and dining areas, while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. According to current Federal, State and facility standards, guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities for Dietary Aide: Prepares patient trays according to instructions and diet order. Assists in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menu and diet requirements. Covers, dates, and labels leftovers and open items properly. Employs proper food handling techniques in preparation of food and setting up or serving trays. Cleans, washes, and sanitizes dishes, silverware, and utensils using correct method. Assists in maintaining the general cleanliness of the dishwashing area. Cleans work area and equipment as assigned. Puts up stock in food storage areas, including dry storage, freezers, and refrigerators, as assigned. Delivers food, nourishments, and supplies to nursing units and other areas as assigned. Qualifications for the Dietary Aide Position High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in food service or related field preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision Apply online by clicking Apply Now Apply today for immediate consideration!!
