Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support shipping and distribution activities for a Contract position based in Fremont, California. This role focuses on keeping materials and outbound deliveries moving efficiently while maintaining compliance with transportation and customs requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate coordination, timely execution, and strong operational follow-through. Responsibilities: u2022 Coordinate daily transportation and distribution activities to ensure shipments are scheduled, processed, and delivered on time. u2022 Manage shipping documentation and verify records for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable procedures. u2022 Work with carriers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery issues and maintain smooth logistics operations. u2022 Track inbound and outbound shipments, provide status updates, and address delays or exceptions in a timely manner. u2022 Support customs-related processes by preparing required information and helping ensure international shipments meet regulatory standards. u2022 Monitor logistics performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost control, and service reliability. u2022 Maintain organized inventory and shipment records to support operational visibility and reporting needs. u2022 Assist with shipping function coordination across departments to align priorities, deadlines, and customer requirements. Requirements u2022 Experience in logistics, distribution, shipping coordination, or a closely related operational role. u2022 Working knowledge of transportation processes, shipment tracking, and freight coordination practices. u2022 Familiarity with customs documentation and compliance requirements for domestic or international shipments. u2022 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Effective communication skills for collaborating with vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teams. u2022 High attention to detail when handling shipment records, documents, and scheduling information. u2022 Proficiency with standard business systems and spreadsheets used for logistics tracking and reporting.
